Moving towards our goal of small groups, we are happy to re-introduce...Backyard Bible Clubs! We invite all 5th and 6th graders to join us once a month for some small group fun in backyards. Our heart is to see the kids thrive in a smaller group setting, friendships deepen and grow, and to promote parent involvement in our kids' spiritual discipleship. This new model will carry these kids into Junior High and beyond ready to lean on God, each other, and the parents that have showed them God's love over the years. We started this last year and saw such incredible fruit from this model.
We will meet once a month starting on May 11th and will continue to meet the second Monday of each month through October in backyards of church families. Each home will have 10-15 kids per backyard. The kids will be assigned to backyards in the following ways: boys groups will be led by two or more dads and girls will be led by two or more moms. Girls will swim, do crafts, and they will go through a devotional book with their leaders. Boys will hike and meet at various trails around town for a fun adventure and devotional. Registration is $25, which includes the devotional and pizza every session.
