Zion is our Junior High ministry at Anthem Chapel. Whether students have never been to church or have been going their whole life, we invite all 7th and 8th grade students to be a part of Zion.
 
Our weekly events include a Wednesday night youth group and a Sunday morning church service. Both focus on hanging out together, having fun, learning about God, and growing in faith. We also organize a range of programs including seasonal camps and monthly events.

Meet with A Pastor

Monty Minchin is our Junior High Youth Director at Anthem Chapel. He would love to meet up with you and discuss any questions you may have regarding Zion Ministries. You can reach him by email at monty@anthemchapel.com.

 

Junior High Lunch Clubs

We help run Gospel-centered events at our local public schools every week. These clubs are student run and supported by local churches and ministries. We hang out, play a fun game, eat lunch, and talk about Jesus. You can find us at La Colina every Tuesday in Room 502 and at Goleta Valley every Wednesday in the Multi Purpose Room. 

 

Zion Surf Club

Zion Surf Club is a group for junior high students who love to surf. We host surf days and camping trips for kids who already have some experience surfing. Reach out to monty@anthemchapel.com for more information about our next adventure.

 

Zion Serve team

Zion Serve Team is our junior high student leadership program at Anthem Chapel. It is for students who want to go deeper in their relationship with God and help make Zion the best ministry that it can be. It is a year long commitment to lead in our youth group through serving others. Any junior high student who loves Jesus and wants to love others can talk to Monty about applying for the Serve Team.

 

Volunteer with Zion
